Which models run in My Day
My Day's AI features run on a single model — Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash, via OpenRouter (USA). The model is called only with your consent to AI tips and only on your action.

Models
All My Day requests go to a single paid group of our LLM gateway. If the primary model is unavailable, the gateway switches to the fallback from the same family. There is no other provider: if both are unavailable, you see “Tips are unavailable today” rather than an answer from a different model.

Prices are OpenRouter's public list prices as recorded in our cost-accounting code. AI Advisory Board pays these costs; free-tier limits apply to you.
Which features use the model
- AI advisor “How to fit more in” — tips for the day, on the “Get tips” button.
- Day reviews: plan, brief, evening summary, patterns; a team review for a manager.
- Chat with the advisor.
- Agent and sources — a proposal of rows for the canvas; it reaches the canvas only after “Apply”.
- Voice: parsing your story about yesterday and fallback recognition of a recording (below).
Free-tier limits: 1 AI tip per day, 20 chat messages, 5 voice recordings per day.
Voice
- Primary recognition is done by your browser (SpeechRecognition). In Chrome and Edge, Google recognizes the voice on the browser side; the audio does not reach our server.
- The fallback server path is for browsers without recognition (Firefox, some Safari versions): the recording goes to Gemini via OpenRouter, only with consent to AI. We do not store the recording — the bytes live in the memory of a single request.
Consent and working without AI
- No request reaches the model without your consent to AI tips and without your action (a button, a voice message, autofill you turned on).
- Emails, phone numbers, account numbers and links are removed from texts before sending.
- On the paid tier, Google does not use your text for training.
- Without consent, the product works without AI: the canvas, statuses, durations and the routine map are computed from your records themselves, without a model.
- NVIDIA NIM and free models are not used for My Day.
If you connect your own ChatGPT
Connecting ChatGPT via MCP is optional. In that case an OpenAI model on your side answers: your ChatGPT account chooses it, OpenAI processes the data, and OpenAI pays for the calls, not us. You can revoke access in “Connections”.
